Association de Pickleball de Clare

The Association de Pickleball de Clare was created with the following three guiding principles.

  1. To increase the number of skilled pickleball players in Clare by allowing for competitive play and focused training time.
  2. To create opportunities for youth to learn and play the sport of pickleball while also promoting the French language in an Acadian context.
  3. To uphold the principles of sportsmanship, fair play and ethics in sports.

The club will be a welcoming and inclusive place and all members have a right to be free from harassment, abuse, unethical behaviour and discrimination. In short, pickleball is fun, let’s keep it that way.

The Association de Pickleball de Clare is currently working on a plan to start playing competitive pickleball sessions in Clare. These sessions will not be drop-in. There are many opportunities for drop-in play in Clare and the surrounding communities. The sessions run by the club will focus on high level play and will require users to have a Swish account and a DUPR account. All members will need to sign a membership agreement and have an active membership with Pickleball Nova Scotia.
